What you can do
- Use the templates to raise capital for your own company.
- Use the templates to manage your own company's finances.
- Modify, adapt, and change the templates to fit your specific needs.
- If you are a consultant or agency, use the templates to create final deliverables (e.g., a PDF pitch deck or a populated financial model) for your clients.
What you cannot do
- Resell the templates as templates.
- Redistribute the raw, unpopulated templates publicly or privately.
- Publish the templates as open-source or free downloads.
- Use the templates to create a competing product.
Modifications
You are free to modify the templates in any way you see fit. However, Meritra is not responsible for any errors, broken formulas, or miscalculations that occur as a result of your modifications.
Liability
These templates are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. They are educational and operational tools, not certified financial or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the numbers you present to investors, boards, or stakeholders. In no event shall Meritra be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of these templates.
Updates Entitlement
Your purchase includes lifetime access to updates for the specific template you purchased. When we release a new version (e.g., updating benchmarks or fixing a bug), you will receive an email notification via Polar with the updated files.
Termination
If you violate these terms, your license will be terminated immediately without refund. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the templates in your possession.
